The correct way to save tax is to use tax benefits correctly and completely.

Today, let’s take a look at what additional tax benefits are available to corporations in 2021.

1. Deduct expenses of 1.5 times – 2 times

1.2 The cost of seminar room, hotel room, transportation, or other expenses related to domestic seminars starting from 1st January 2021 – 30th September 2021 can be deducted as expenses of 2 times of actual expenses.

πŸ“What has changed for filing taxes in 2021?

Because it is the year the government has launched various measures to help people who have been financially affected during the COVID-19 outbreak, these are changes to be aware when filing for tax return.

1. Reduce social security contribution rate

This year, Social Security Office has a policy to reduce the contribution rate of the Social Security Fund in every section including Section 33, Section 39 and Section 40, allowing taxpayers to use this amount of money to reduce their taxes.

1.1 Insured person under Section 33

Is eligible to file a tax deduction for social security up to a maximum of 5,100 baht in the tax year 2021 (from the original maximum of 9,000 baht).

1.2 Insured person under Section 39

Is eligible to use social security deduction rights in the tax year 2021 up to a maximum of 3,483 baht.

1.3 Insured person under Section 40

Is eligible to use social security deduction rights in the tax year 2021 up to a maximum of 700, 1,000 and 3,000 baht.

2. How do you pay taxes when you receive compensations from government measures?

In 2021, a number of government remedial measures and economic stimulus packages have been launched to help people such as Half-Half Co-Payment, We Win and We Travel Together schemes. A person, who is an ordinary person and entitled to use the money of the aforementioned schemes, does not have to bring this money to file taxes and does not have to pay any taxes because the Cabinet has already resolved to exempt income tax of Half-Half Co-Payment, We Win and We Travel Together schemes.
