Founded in Asia in 1996, we have grown steadily and now offer different business practices with services ranging from Investment Advisory, Corporate Advisory, Tax Advisory, Family Office, Accounting & Audit Services, Legal Services, Insurance Services, Estate Planning and Property Solutions.

Facilitating clients worldwide, our highly qualified specialists offer an unsurpassed level of service with our own strong local and global experience and expertise. MBMG Group was founded back in the mid-1990s and has become “one of the best-known financial services practices in the country including its fee-based wealth division, MBMG Investment Advisory”.

Today, MBMG Investment Advisory (MBMG) boasts assets under advice of approximately USD1.5 billion spread amongst less than 100 private clients, corporate clients, family offices and institutional clients. Going into the lockdown, the group had grown to over 50 employees at its offices in Bangkok and Hua Hin.

Paul Gambles

Co-founder & Managing Partner

Paul’s range of expertise includes asset allocation, tax structuring
and macro-economic analysis.

He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Warwick, B.A. in English and European Literature, and became a Full Technical Inspector at the UK Inland Revenue. He then moved to the Bank of Scotland Group and spent nine years in corporate and asset finance. In 1994 he helped
set up MBMG Group.

Paul has completed CFA Level 1 and he is licensed by the SEC as both a Securities Fundamental Investment Analyst and an Investment Planner. He is well known as an expert commentator appearing regularly on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Channel News Asia. Paul is a regular contributor to industry and chamber of commerce magazines.

Janjira (Jan) Sumanus

CEO

Jan has a wealth of experience in corporate advisory, having worked with clients in many sectors.

With an MBA in Business Management and over 20 years of practical experience, Jan represents clients of all backgrounds, running organizations of all sizes, particularly focusing on the nexus between Thailand and global business.

A skilled negotiator, she is a highly experienced and sophisticated advisor, renowned above all for her constructive, pragmatic problem-solving skills.

As well as being CEO, Jan is head of MBMG Group’s highly regarded Legal and Accountancy teams.

Natthapol Trichote (Kong)
Senior Lawyer

Natthapol is a Legal Adviser in Bangkok with expertise in corporate and commercial transactions, take-overs, mergers, and acquisitions. He is proficient with all the aspects of the Board of Investment (BOI) and has extensive knowledge of commercial laws and IP across a wide range of industries, including services, consumer durables, trading businesses and software.

Natthapol has completed a Master’s degree in law, majoring in taxation at Chulalongkorn University and also has a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from Ramkamhaeng University. He is a member of the Lawyer Society of Thailand and provides general legal counsel to our clients, MBMG Group and MBMG Investment Advisory.

Chanika Boonkaew
Accounting Manager, CPA

Chanika has financial experience in a wide variety of different industries, including hotels (Mariot Vacation Club , Minor Group), manufacturing (Siam Cement Group ,Cargill Meats (Thailand Limited, ), trading (Sumitronics Co.,Ltd. ), and services ( Panyaphiwat school), etc.

She is Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Registration No. 11716 and also holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accountancy from Thammasat University.
