MBMG Group was founded back in the mid-1990s and has become “one of the best-known financial services practices in the country including its fee-based wealth division, MBMG Investment Advisory”.

Today, MBMG Investment Advisory (MBMG) boasts assets under advice of approximately USD1.5 billion spread amongst less than 100 private clients, corporate clients, family offices and institutional clients. Going into the lockdown, the group had grown to over 50 employees at its offices in Bangkok and Hua Hin.

Paul’s range of expertise includes asset allocation, tax structuring
and macro-economic analysis.

He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Warwick, B.A. in English and European Literature, and became a Full Technical Inspector at the UK Inland Revenue. He then moved to the Bank of Scotland Group and spent nine years in corporate and asset finance. In 1994 he helped
set up MBMG Group.

Paul has completed CFA Level 1 and he is licensed by the SEC as both a Securities Fundamental Investment Analyst and an Investment Planner. He is well known as an expert commentator appearing regularly on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Channel News Asia. Paul is a regular contributor to industry and chamber of commerce magazines.

Jan has a wealth of experience in corporate advisory, having worked with clients in many sectors.

With an MBA in Business Management and over 20 years of practical experience, Jan represents clients of all backgrounds, running organisations of all sizes, particularly focusing on the nexus between Thailand and global business.

A skilled negotiator, she is a highly experienced and sophisticated advisor, renowned above all for her constructive, pragmatic problem-solving skills.

As well as being CEO, Jan is head of MBMG Group's highly regarded Legal and Accountancy teams.
